Sean was born in a small Long Island, New York port town in 1986. From early on, he had a fascination for a good story, in both frame and in diction. As one of the only five-year-olds running around with a flashbulb camera, Sean would carefully craft an affinity for the filmmaker’s toolkit, all the while expanding his ideas on what the written word can do. After sampling all forms of writing throughout the years, stretching from short stories, to poetry/prose, to feature newspaper articles, high school put the two loves of photography and writing together into a love for filmmaking.

After graduating from high school, Sean attended Five Towns College in Dix Hills, NY, where he graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Video. With degree in hand, he opened up ArcFrame Media in 2010, where he edits and shoots video for an experienced and growing clientele. In 2011, Sean founded Echopainter Creative, a vehicle for all of his creative work, from his photographic pieces to his writing and films, including the newest addition, his first major short film “Faint by Numbers”.
